Who We Are
Founded by Tshegofatso Tau Lebepe, MM Developments (Pty) Ltd is a 100% Black Youth-Owned Level 1 B-BBEE Architecture and Construction group of companies which offers an integrated approach to architecture and infrastructure.
We believe in creating dynamic, interactive and intuitive spaces where people and communities can connect with the environment and each other. The central drive of the practice is to create elegant, rigorous and innovative design solutions that respond to client needs and contextual constraints — while invoking and preserving the identity of the space.

An architecture professional and serial entrepreneur, Tau founded MM Developments in 2015 driven by a bold vision — to build an integrated, community-centred practice that transcends conventional boundaries of architecture and construction.
With over 10 years of industry experience, Tau leads the firm with the rare combination of Creative Design thinking and strategic business acumen. He is deeply involved across all phases of project delivery — guiding design direction, managing client relationships and ensuring that the firm's standards of quality and innovation are upheld on every project.
As Principal Agent and Architect across numerous residential, educational, commercial and government projects, Tau has built a reputation for professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. His leadership drives the firm forward as it evolves into a full-spectrum property developer.

Ronald Kubayi is the operational backbone of MM Developments — the force that translates design ambition into physical reality. As Construction Partner and Operations Director, Ronald leads the firm's on-site execution function, ensuring that every project is delivered to specification, on programme and to the highest standard of safety and quality.
With deep roots in construction management, Ronald brings a disciplined, ground-up approach to every build. His strengths lie in site operations — coordinating labour, managing subcontractors, enforcing OHSA compliance and maintaining the quality control standards that MM Developments is known for. Where others see complexity, he sees a programme to be executed.
Ronald's role in MM Developments ensures that the gap between drawing board and final handover is closed with precision. His practical expertise in construction logistics, team management and quality assurance makes him the partner every project needs on the ground — the one who gets it built.
